Volunteer tickets by email

A proper ticket for everyone who helps.

Giving a DJ, helper or crew member free entry does not have to mean keeping a separate guest list. Tickgetr lets you email volunteer tickets directly from the event dashboard. At the entrance, your team scans their QR codes just like other tickets.

  • Complimentary admission for helpers
  • Delivered by email
  • Scannable at the entrance

How do you send tickets to volunteers?

Open Volunteer tickets in your event dashboard. Enter the recipient’s name and email address, choose a ticket type and quantity. Check the address and send the tickets. The recipient receives real event tickets without having to place a normal paid order.

Use the right ticket type for entry

Choose the access you are giving away carefully. If a helper should attend the whole party, their ticket should match that arrangement. Issuing tickets takes the remaining capacity of the selected ticket type into account. Free admission still needs to fit within your event capacity.

A volunteer email here means a ticket email

This feature sends admission tickets to the recipient you enter. It is not a general newsletter service or volunteer shift planner. Arrange working hours, tasks and arrival times with your team separately so everyone understands what the ticket email provides.

No separate exception list at the entrance

A delivered volunteer ticket contains a QR code that the Tickgetr app can check. Your entrance team does not need to switch between paid tickets, chat messages and loose guest lists. Check that helpers have received their email before the event.

  3. Send and follow up

Send from the dashboard and check the result. Ask your helper to bring the ticket email to the entrance.
